Cesar Chavez Middle School has developed a written Title I Parental Involvement Policy with input from Title I parents. We have held several parent community meetings and elicited the support of School Site Council members to develop this policy.

The end of the year is rapidly approaching. Here are some dates and times for the end of the year activites for our 8th grade class.
- 8th Grade Dance: Friday June 7 @ CCMS - 7:00 - 9:30pm
- 8th Grade Picnic: Monday June 10 - Location TBA (off campus) - return to campus at 3:00pm
- 8th Grade Graduation: Tuesday June 11 @ James Logan outdoor field - 6:30 - 8:30pm
- 8th Grade breakfast and send off: Wednesday June 12 @ CCMS - 8:30 - 11:50am
More information will arrive in a packet along with a permission slip for the Dance and Picnic. A letter has already been sent home for students to order their promotion gown.

Dear parents! We will have a Potato Bar on Wednesday, March 27th to honor our wonderful staff. We need your help with donations for toppings. Parent can drop off the items on Monday, March 25th at any time in the front office. We will need:
- sour cream
- chopped bacon
- green onions
- hot sauce
- plates, napkins, and cups
We will have a basket labeled "Teacher Potato Bar Donations!" in the front office. We appreciate your help so much in honoring our staff!
8th grade favorites voting will take place from Friday 3/15 (4pm) to Tuesday 3/19 (9pm). Please visit:
8th grade gown order forms were delivered on Wednesday 3/13 in CORE classes. If your student did not receive a flyer, please see attached.
Applications for individual students were either delivered or available for pick up in the counseling office.
If you did not receive your application, please open the attachment below and turn it in by Wednesday March 20.
